Panelsource™, the tradename of Davidson Sales Company, Inc.'s light manufacturing business is seeking applicants for a Production Manager position in Daytona Beach, Florida. This is a full-time position with benefits. Davidson Sales Company is a thirty-seven-year-old power generation manufacturers' representative, wholesale distributor and manufacturing company based in Daytona Beach, Florida. As Panelsource™, we manufacture generator control panels, transfer switch controls & accessory control panels. We also assemble fiberglass industrial battery boxes and trays.

Requirements
We require a Production Manager to aid in increasing our production capacity and efficiency. The following skills are wanted. Work experience can substitute as needed for the right person.

  • • Knowledge of generator set control systems, preferred experience with Deep Sea and Basler controllers and a working knowledge of CAT, Kohler & Cummins control systems.
  • • Ability to follow electrical wiring diagram of control panel, voltage regulator, governing system, and transfer switches.
  • • Ability to understand function and sourcing of all components in the systems we build and make possible substitutions as needed.
  • • Ability to organize BOM's in the system and aid in procurement decisions on sourcing these components.
  • • Ability to maintain good inventory practices.
  • • Understand the functions of sales orders, work orders, and purchase orders, (practical training provided).
  • • Experience with production processes from order creation, parts pulling, assembly, testing, QC..... experience with process changes and implementation to achieve production efficiency.
  • • AutoCAD or similar platform a plus.
  • • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office programs, (word, excel, outlook....) and file and data management.
  • • Leadership, management, written and verbal communication, project management, time management and problem-solving are just a few of the important skills required.
  • Organize and manage a small team of production assemblers to meet a production schedule.
